Temporal does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data on our servers. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no tracking. Your events live on your device and in your own iCloud storage. We have no access to either.
What we collect
Nothing. Temporal does not collect any data from its users. We do not use analytics frameworks, crash reporters, or any third-party SDKs that gather information. The app does not require an account, email address, or any personal information to function.
Where your data lives
Events you create are stored:
- On your device, in the app's local database.
- In your private iCloud storage (Apple CloudKit), automatically, so events sync across your devices signed in to the same Apple ID. iCloud sync is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to your iCloud data.
In-app purchases
The one-time Temporal Pro purchase is processed by the Apple App Store. We receive a yes/no signal that the purchase was successful — not your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs purchase data.
Notifications
Temporal uses local notifications, scheduled on your device, to remind you of upcoming events. Nothing is sent over the network for notifications.
Photos
If you save a shareable countdown image, Temporal writes one PNG to your Photos library. We do not read your existing photos.
Children's privacy
Temporal is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. Since we collect no data, we collect none from children.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Since Temporal does not collect user data, we have no way to notify you directly — please review this page periodically.
